This course enables its participants to administer Projects portal where all nonusers can gather information on the portfolio and the workload on the resources.



The course teaches how to configure Project Web App and how you use the different parts of the portal: Gantt-charts for various user groups, time tracking, progress reports, portfolio displays, resources workload profiles, status reports, handling risk, handling problem areas and finally attachment of documents to projects, phases and activities.


Project Web App is based on Share Point Services and we see how Microsoft Project cooperates with other Share Point applications.


  • Configuring Project Web App, setting up user profiles and groups
  • Setting up displays in Project Web App, Gantt charts, color codes
  • Setting up resource workload profiles
  • Configuring the portfolio charts of a project with color codes on time and budget

At the end of this course the participant will be able to be in charge of setting up and adapting the Project Web App and administer users and profiles.



It is an advantage with experience in applying Microsoft Project and Project Server corresponding to Module 4. Furthermore it is an advantage if the participant has completed module 1, 2 and 3.
